Description:

            Appearance: Ami is about five foot five inches tall and weighs approximately one hundred and forty five pounds.  She has a slender but strong build, much like a gymnast, and pale skin.  She has black hair that is usually pulled back into a mid back length pony tail, and almond shaped blue eyes.  She wears many different outfits, depending on the occasion. 

            Abilities: Ami is the perfect blend of eastern and western traditions.  She is Japanese on her father’s side and Norwegian on her mother’s.  Her Japanese heritage, while it does not grant her any abilities, is still steeped in history as her family traces its ancestry back to a famous anti-shogunate ronin.  Her Norwegian mother; however, was descendant from the Valkyrie Skeggjӧld, and as her female descendant, Ami has received the powers of the Valkyrie.  As a sword-maiden of Odin, the usually learned skills of fighting are literally stepped in Ami’s genetic code.  Ami knows fighting techniques that it would take a normal human many years to learn without any training.  While this does not pertain to firearms, Ami has a mastery over edged weapons, thrown weapons, piercing weapons, bludgeons, and hand to hand combat that would make master fighting monks envious.  Not all of the Valkyrie’s powers pertain to war though.  They were also in charge of keeping the warriors who were judged worthy of Valhalla happy and healthy.  Ami also possesses this skill of healing which can alleviate pain and heal small wounds.    

Weapons: Due to her great skill with weapons, Ami uses many different non firearm tools as the situation calls for.  One that she is rarely without though, is the Boke-giri, a samurai katana that belonged to her famous ancestor and is said to possess special powers. 

Bio:  Ami was born in Esashi, Japan and lived there until she was seven years old, when she moved to Portland, Oregon.  From a young age she excelled at martial arts and contact sports, winning many national trophies and international accolades for her unnatural fighting skill.  At nineteen she joined the DEA, in spite of her failure of the firearms proficiency exam.  She was moved into a unit that gathered evidence against and take down international drug lords.  She was extremely successful and was quickly climbing the ranks until she had a run in with a demonic drug runner.  Everyone in her unit except for her was killed in the fight, and this unexpected battle with the paranormal made her realize what she was.  She quit the DEA and joined G.O. a short time later, where she took down paranormals connected to the human black market.
